Now, I take a lot of shots that myself and others think are pretty good, but then there are shots like this… I love this shot… Can’t quite explain why, but this is definitely one of my favorites taken this year.
I was just walking down Adams Street last week when I noticed the angles of the Dirksen (left) and Kluczynski (right) Federal Buildings as they visually merged into one large mass of Mies. I didn’t plan this shot, just pulled my trusty D80 out of my bag, and did a quick point and shoot. It wasn’t until the next day when I downloaded my shots that I felt that little sense of awe when I take a shot that I really like. I hope you like it as well.
