“I’d like a Hot Tom-Tom Tamale please!” Another sign that entreprenuership isn’t dead. While walking along W. 19th just east of Ashland in Pilsen, we found ourselves in conversation with Eddie’s neighbor (not shown), all the while Eddie was sitting waiting for his next customer. I don’t know how much business Eddie manages to do sitting in the middle of the block lined with houses and apartments, but his eyes and ears on the block help keep it safer for all (assuming he is on the up and up himself).
