This past weekend I had the pleasure of walking the Loop with fellow Photoblogger Intern (LensImpressions), and as part of the walk, I took her on her first trip on an “L” train. Something to be experienced by everybody that lives or visits Chicago, it offers a different vantage point offering views and perspectives otherwise unseen. After our trip around the Loop (Brown line to Merchandise Mart, get off, go to other side, get back on the Brown Line, end up where you started.) ended at Adams/Wabash, we began to take photos from the platform, and then the stairs overhead. These shots taken from the overhead connector stairs. A recent question was posed on Skyscraper City what the “grandest canyon” view is, in Chicago… This may not be the grandest, but it is my favorite. Nothing says Chicago more than Wabash Avenue, and this view.
