I hope your not tired of the night shots…. Federal Center has been a topic of my photography many times (see links below), but this shoot is I think the best yet. This was actually my motivation to go out on that early AM shoot on Saturday. I never tire of absorbing the details that Mies laid out on Dearborn between Adams and Jackson. The Post Office is in my opinion one of the most beautiful Post Offices in the modern world, and Calder’s 1974 Flamingo is the cherry on top.

Ben, thats because the lighting hasn’t functioned for a few years. They recently did a lot of repair work (although there are still a few that aren’t working).
