I first posted (on my old site) about Lakeside Motel in Edgewater back in April of 2005, not knowing that only a few months later in July, it was to be demolished. While on a recent walk in the area in January, I came across the motel sign still standing next to the sidewalk, alone, missing it’s motel. While looking through the remains, I came across a fragment (last shot), which was clearly a part of the front. A few other images not shown are in a set on my flickr.
