Today’s random goodness was pulled from shots taken over the past few days. First up, Shot from the roof of Marina City’s west tower; crowds leaving the area after the annual ritual of turning the river to an unnatural green for St. Pat’s day. Next, the bridge over Madison Street has been undergoing maintenance; they closed off and raised the bridge almost every day last week. Evidence of a rough night, the red heel was found along side Milwaukee near Grand. Yellow warning light under Metra tracks crossing W. Auusta near N. Willard Ct. This poor terra cotta man must have a sore throat; the location is to be guessed on my flickr. Final shot; this 19th century pair of doors on Grand near Milwaukee lead to apartments above. One can only imagine kids playing near them in the 1880s.
