Homage to the Chicago School (Richard Haas, 1980) at 1211 N LaSalle Street has recently been restored to it orginal look as part of the conversion of the building from rental to condos. The results are quite impressive. A composite of styles from each of the four greats (Burnham, Root, Sullivan, and Wright) that made up the early Chicago School, cover both the east and south wall (shown). You can clearly see the influences of each of the four architects. Its certainly more impresive than the previous blank brick wall, and well worth the restoration.
