Today’s random group is pulled from images shot recently. The first image is of the LaSalle Bank back offices on 550 W Madison. I like that you can see the different elevator banks, as you look top to bottom. The next two shots were taken when I was walking home from work during last Wednesday’s snowstorm. I really like the composition in the shot of the crosswalk. The fourth shot has birds resting on the broken up ice floating in the river this past Friday.  I like the glimmer of sun reflecting across the ice. The last shot was taken from the fifth floor of Carson Pirie Scott looking over the intersection of Madison and State. The windows at the store were quite filthy; I was amazed I was able to get a shot as clear as this. It won’t be long until the round corners on the upper floors are executive office space, and the public will never again get to experience the view.
