No, not that kind of Bears Pride… This is the kind of Bears Pride that only true Chicagoans can experience. Unfortunately, while I think the gesture of putting Chicago Bears flags on the front of Macy’s is well intended… It almost feels dirty to me to see this. Macy’s hasn’t been here long enough to establish a history in Chicago, how dare they think they have the privilege of showing their pride.
It’s all a matter of commerce, and fear of pissing off those that don’t get it.
