On a little detour from my usual walk home last night, I found myself crossing the river on Jackson dodging “Metra-ites” while trying to take a few snapshots. Amid the people rushing to the train is the glow of the Harry Weese’s bright angular lobby at 200 S Wacker. Completed in 1981, Harry applied his obsession with triangles all over the place in this building, but his lobby stands out the most. Now of course there are many newer and even brighter lobbies along Wacker, but this one will always hold its own.
