Picking up where I left off yesterday… Walking home on Monday, I meandered a little bit from my usual path to observe everyone else in the rush to get home. Competing for space on trains, or backed up in traffic. The top two were shot from the Franklin Street Bridge looking east down the river. Then I wandered over to Franklin and Lake for the next one. The last two are more about traffic, both shot from Randolph Street from Clark to Dearborn.
To follow up on yesterdays article in the Tribune, about security cameras atop the towers at Crown Fountain, which I pitched to the Trib on Monday… It was quite the roller coaster of a day, and I want to take time to thank all those that commented on my site, sent me emails, as well as those bloggers who mentioned me or even did posts about it ( 1 2 3 ) I appreciate the recognition. Thank you!
Well, I was again included in the follow up article about the removal of the cameras in today’s Trib (front page of Metro). While this isn’t the first time my name and my blog have been mentioned in the Trib. It was rather exciting to know that I started something that resulted in action from the city.
