I didn’t do a Random Monday, or even a Random Tuesday, so today is Random Wednesday. The following images were shot over the past week or so. First up; The annual process of moving sand and salt in preparation of winter. It is always a sight to see barges that are half a block long being pushed along the Chicago River. I took a shot three days earlier with the barges empty heading in for the “fill”.
Standing in front of the Madison Street entrance to Union Station, 14 underdressed (it was cold) representatives of SC Johnson, “A Family Company” (just what does that mean?)
“There’s a star on my head!” I don’t know quite what the monument in Grant Park, along Michigan Avenue near the new Agora installation is all about, but I like the star tiara on her head.
Cars being wisked off to a higher floor at the Travelodge parking garage on South Wabash and E Harrison.
It never ceases to amaze me how people will adorn their bodies. Gotta love the patriotic touch. So here is a challenge… This nail salon is in the Loop, anybody want to venture a guess as to where it is?
