This post was originally going to be put up last week, but the Wirt Dexter fire sorta became more important. So the images are a few weeks old, but relevant none the less. Anybody walking along Wacker Drive or crossing the Wabash or Michigan Ave Bridges cannot help but notice that Trump’s Chicago edifice is growing. I personally am fascinated by the fact that it will be all concrete (having grown up in earthquaky CA), and in doing that, they have to support several floors simultaneously as it goes up.

Interesting that they chose the river facade to install the temporary elevators.
The spiral parking ramp takes shape. I think this will be completely covered with glass, leaving little hint of what is inside.
