This week’s selection of random fun is pulled from images shot over the past week.
First up, We went to the Massive Change exhibit at the MCA, while I wasn’t very impressed by the exhibit itself, I couldn’t resist taking the ubiquitous shot of the stairs on the northwest side of the building. Most shots of the stairs are from the top down, which I took, but I liked my bottom up ones better.
Arriving at Orange on Harrison for brunch on Saturday, the street was closed off by a giant crane lifting these pretty red pumps to a rooftop. I took other pics, which I may post later.
Marina City would look like this, if there were only one tower.
This pic has so much going on. I stopped on my way to work to capture the city workers cleaning the trash in the river (yes, they do it with a net.) It was after I got home and took a closer look at it that I realized that I captured commuters getting to work by foot and car across the Washington Street Bridge, by Riverbus, and train (Lake Street in background) all in this one shot. The only thing missing is bicycle.
