Usually, I pay little attention to the goings on when I am sipping coffee, working on posts, or reading the paper, but other morning I captured a hint of the sun out of the corner of my eye, and by chance I saw this.
The next morning I thought about the shot from the previous day, and then began to look around at what else I can see by the early morning light. The next thing to catch my eye… A reflection of the sun glistening on the Unitrin Building.
Then I noticed the puffy clouds behind the crane over MoMo. (Which got much taller last week.)
Then I stuck my head out the window and saw the crane over 340 On The Park.
And lastly, for some reason, I was drawn to the positioning of good verses evil… That would be good Post Modernism (PoMo) on the left verses evil PoMo on the left. These two buildings offer a good side by side of what was good from the 80’s and what should have never been built. (Yes I know that 77 E Wacker was comleted in 1992, but it was designed in the 80’s.)
Be sure your are checking out WVallen’s Photomapping Project. For the month of September, he has been posting the location of my posts along with several other of his favorite photographers. The month is almost up, so if you haven’t checked it out, do it now!
