Standing atop the West Tower of Marina City on a spectacular Sunday afternoon, Michael and I got to enjoy a great view of the Blue Angels portion of the Air and Water Show. I am not they type that you would find down at North Avenue Beach, with the throngs of people that don’t live any where near there. I didn’t even plan on seeing the show, it just happened that we thought why not go to the roof on this beautiful day, and see what there is to see. Here is what we saw…
The first shot is of the prop planes Lima Lima Flight Team (turn down your volume), which were on as an earlier part of the show. (I tried to figure out who they are, but no luck. See comment)
The next several shots are of the Blue Angels, and pretty much speak for themselves, so I will keep the text to a minimum.
