Walking home along Adams Street recently, I began to notice the reflections in the buildings along the south side of the street. The sun was just right as it illuminated the street and its inhabitants. So naturally, I started shooting. This first shot of the window of the Post Office is reflecting the prominent columns of the CPS Building across the street.
And a bit further down… This one is a bit more complex, Shot at the NE corner of the Post Office, with the Dirkson Building across Dearborn as the distant background, and the reflection of the Marquette Building, lightly layered on top of the Post Office glazing.
OK, this isn’t along Adams… But I never pass up a chance to capture the Calder, reflecting in the Post Office Window
The Berghoff sign remains, even if the restaurant doesn’t.
The parking garage entrance as reflected in the former Osco (now CVS thankfully) between State and Wabash.
