Took a walk along the river to see the Tall Ships on Sunday. Tall Ships aren’t really in my realm of interests, but I thought they would at least be of enough interest for a walk by. They were… If you are interested in seeing them, they will be there through tomorrow, August 9th.
I shot nearly 50 shots of the ships, but the overcast day didn’t offer much up in the way of good lighting. Here are a few of the shots that didn’t look all washed out. This is the Niagara… Completed in 1988, this is a reconstruction of a warship from the War of 1812.
Another shot of the Niagara from the north side of the Columbus Avenue Bridge.
This is the “Friends Good Will” (an odd name for a ship)… Another reconstructed ship (2004) from the period of the War of 1812.
The Pathfinder (1963)… A training vessel from our neighbors up north in Toronto, Canada.
