This weeks randomness was selected from shots taken over the past week.
Construction has been ongoing for the last five years or so, but it looks like there may finally be a finish to 6 N Michigan. Built in 1898 as the headquarters for Montgomery Wards Catalog empire, it is now supposedly going to be (surprise) condos.
Looking out my window a few days back, I was taken by the red glow of the construction crane at MoMo.
While crossing the Wabash at Wacker yesterday, I saw this “forest” of poles against a background of the Kedzie Street Garage.
Taken a few moments later, the Marina City Towers all snuggled together.

On Saturday, I shot the corner of this building at was what was once the intersection of Lincoln Park West and Garfield Ave. The intersection is now called Lincoln Park West and “___________”? And do you know what year the name was changed?
