Market Days, the largest street fair in the Midwest, takes place on North Halsted beginning at Belmont stretching north for a half mile ending at to Addison. Leave it to the Gays to host this giant event. For the entertainment value of the crowd alone, it is worth a visit. I took this shot looking north, shortly after arriving at the Belmont entrance.
Almost twenty minutes later, looking back to where we started, the river of people looks endless.
Given how much the “Don’t feed the Models” slogan also fits most of the gay community, it is amazing how many food options there are. But then again, there were plenty of “non-gymbot” types to line up at the food vendors (which is one of the qualities I like about Chicago).
At Addison, where we exited, one half mile from where we entered.
