Recently, while waiting for the train home at Belmont, I took a few platform shots of where I began my trip, and then the destination.
Anytime I am standing and waiting at night, I always notice the difference in light between the bluish white fluorescent and the harsh orange glow of the sodium vapor lighting. Aesthetics are not a strong point of the CTA.
Northbound Red Line is just a blur.
We took the brown line just for the heck of it, even though it takes a few extra minutes to go around the Loop. I still get a joy from taking in the scenery on the Brown Line. Upon arriving home at Madison/Wabash, I snapped this view north on Wabash.
The empty platform after my train pulled out. I like the reflection on the blur of the incoming train.
