A few months back while wandering around the so called uber trendy Fulton Market area I came across this sign and busted up with laughter. I suppose if you run a restaurant, you would need a daily supply of meat. Or, if you were a slut.
Would you want this place to pack your meat? This hand painted sign across the street from the daily meat suppliers offers an economic way to package meat. The hand painted sign offers up a lot of confidence.
I had to show this close up of hand painted animals. The cow looks happy, the pig looks angry…
Don’t be fooled by the sign, this isn’t and never was a hotel. It is however a popular place to get a cocktail (and perhaps some meat?)
This was a few blocks away and unrelated, but I just love that C.A. Zoes Mfg Co. has retained that “old timey” look. What do they do, and are they still in business?
