Michael and I went down (in the blazing heat) to Chinatown on Sunday for dim sum only to find the 26th Annual Chinatown Summer Fair. We basically stumbled on it, and decided to suffer in the sweltering heat to spend some time there. I saw this as a perfect chance to take a few pics.
One of the things I love about the Chinese culture is that they are not afraid of color, and feel free to use it everywhere.
Does that fact that the deities are mass produced and wrapped in plastic reduce their effectiveness?
This booth carries a large selection of licenced and authorized products.
I was captured by the stack of hats and box of back scratchers.
