It occured to me that I completely blew off doing a Random Mondays post this week, so here it is….
Images today were taken over the past week.
First up; While waiting on the roof of west tower, Marina City, for the fireworks to begin on Monday night, I played around again with my zoomy fun from last week. This shot was taken standing looking out west. You can make out the Chicago River in the bottom center. The blue is from Riverbend.
Just one of three buildings I get the priviledge of watching rise in the sky from my living room. I can now see Trump International rising (center) just above the Chicago Theater marquee sign between Unitrin and the Jewelers Building.
Was in Greektown having dinner last week, and saw this in a storefront on Halsted. Kind of creepy…
Crossing cranes at the site of Waterview Tower (no, not one of the buildings I can see going up).
Close up of Thompson Center from Clark Street.
